The Quick Pix Gallery is my recent works; some of them are experimental, and some of them are more established designs. Fine landscapes, panoramics, and regional interest shots, portraiture and product closeups. Prints of some images may be purchased by PayPal secure web payment services; look for the Buy! folder. Cuckoo Voodoo

This is my first gallery shot with my new Canon 5D, which I took out to Newport, Rhode Island, this weekend. I was aboard the 100ft sailboat, the Aurora, as we dined on sushi and sake.

As far as I can tell, 'Cuckoo Voodoo' is a reference to a gag from the old George of the Jungle cartoon show. If you're the owner of this fine vessel, I'd love to hear from you.

Update: Harry from Little Compton, across from Newport, wrote back to me. Harry explained that his daughter found this photo. He also mentioned that the "Cuckoo Voodoo" is not a reference to George of the Jungle, but to a Joe Piscopo comedy skit. Happy sailing, Harry and family!

This image is scaled down for the web. An even larger view is available. Here is a 100% crop sample from the original image at its original scale. (The original is 12.3 megapixels!)
